Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 26, 2026

Welcome to Daren Wac (darenwac.com). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We’ve tried to write this in plain language rather than dense legal jargon, because we think you should actually be able to understand what happens to your data.

By using our website, purchasing our software, subscribing to our services, or accessing our educational content, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Who We Are

Daren Wac is a technology and digital marketing business run out of Kenya, offering downloadable software products, educational content, and (soon) freelance/client services, primarily to customers in the United States.

If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach us at hello@darenwac.com or support@darenwac.com.

Information We Collect

Information you give us directly:

Information collected automatically:

Cookies and similar tracking technologies: We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, understand how it’s used, and (in the future) serve relevant ads. See the “Cookies & Tracking Tools” section below for the specific tools we use.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Cookies & Tracking Tools

We currently use the following third-party tools, each of which may set cookies or collect data on our behalf:

Google Analytics — helps us understand site traffic and usage patterns (pages visited, time on site, general location, device type). Google may use this data in accordance with its own privacy policy. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Mixpanel — helps us understand how users interact with our software and website (feature usage, events, engagement patterns), so we can improve the product experience.

Google AdSense — we currently use, or plan to use, Google AdSense to display advertising on our site. AdSense may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. Note that disabling cookies may affect how parts of our site function.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There isn’t yet a common industry standard for how businesses should respond to DNT signals, so at this time our site does not respond differently when it detects one. We’ll update this policy if that changes.

Email Communications

If you opt in to receive emails from us — whether through a signup form, checkout, or newsletter subscription — we’ll send you emails related to product updates, promotions, tips, or educational content. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by emailing us directly at support@darenwac.com.

We will always send you transactional/account-related emails (like license keys, payment receipts, or security notices) even if you’re not subscribed to marketing emails, since these are necessary to deliver the service you’ve paid for.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Advertising

We currently use, or intend to use, Google AdSense to display ads on our website. These ads may be personalized based on your browsing activity, using cookies described above. Ad networks like Google may collect and use information about your visits to this and other websites to provide relevant advertisements.

You can learn more about how Google uses data from advertising partners, and manage your preferences, at Google’s Privacy & Terms page.

Our Software & Subscription Model

Our downloadable software includes a license validation mechanism tied to your active subscription. Here’s how that works in plain terms:

We do not access, read, or collect the content you create or store using the software itself.

How We Handle Payments

We use InflowPay as our Merchant of Record (MoR) to process payments from customers, primarily in the United States. This means InflowPay handles payment collection, billing, tax compliance, and related financial processing on our behalf.

When you make a purchase or subscribe, your payment details (card number, billing info, etc.) are collected and processed directly by InflowPay, not by us. We receive limited information back from InflowPay — such as your name, email, purchase/subscription status, and transaction history — which we use to fulfill your order, manage your subscription, and provide support.

We do not store your full payment card details on our own systems at any time.

Who We Share Information With

We don’t sell your personal information. We share information only with:

Data Retention

We keep your personal information for as long as your account or subscription is active, or as needed to provide you services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you’d like your data deleted, contact us at support@darenwac.com and we’ll process your request, subject to any legal record-keeping requirements (e.g., tax/payment records held by InflowPay).

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so while we work hard to protect your data, we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

Our products and services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we’ve inadvertently collected such information, we’ll delete it promptly.

International Users

We are based in Kenya and primarily serve customers in the United States. If you’re accessing our services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in locations that may have different data protection laws than your home country.

We currently don’t have significant traffic from the EU/UK, but if that changes, we’ll update this policy to reflect additional protections and rights available to those users under applicable law (such as the GDPR).

Your Privacy Rights

For all users: You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing support@darenwac.com. You can also opt out of marketing emails and adjust cookie/ad preferences as described above.

California residents: Depending on the scope of our business and data practices at any given time, California’s privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA) may provide you additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we’ve collected, request its deletion, and opt out of its “sale” or “sharing” (as those terms are defined under California law) for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. If you’d like to exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@darenwac.com and we’ll respond as required by law.

European users (GDPR): If you’re located in the EU/UK, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to certain processing. Our legal basis for processing your data is generally your consent (e.g., email opt-in), the necessity of processing to fulfill a contract (e.g., your subscription), or our legitimate business interests. To exercise these rights, contact support@darenwac.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our business, tools, or legal obligations change. We’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when we do. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our site.
